Privacy Policy

Updated: August 5, 2025

1. Introduction

This Policy explains how data is processed when you use the website and API of qrtools.adgex.com (the “Service”).

Data controller: ADGEX Pty Ltd (Australia). Privacy contact: info@adgex.com.

2. Data entry limitations

The Service is not intended for processing personal data. Do not enter passport, payment, or other sensitive details. Entry of special categories of data (health, biometrics, beliefs, etc.) is prohibited.

3. Categories of data processed

  • Technical network data (including IP address and User-Agent) is processed to establish connections, ensure availability, and prevent abuse; such data may be recorded in web server/proxy access logs.
  • Technical cookies: (a) interface language; (b) “cid” — an anonymous client identifier used for rate-limits and anti-abuse (retention — 7 days, extended on activity). No third-party advertising/analytics cookies are used.
  • Contents of API requests are processed solely to generate the response and are not stored in production.

5. Retention

API request bodies are not stored by default. Technical logs are kept in limited scope and duration per hosting configuration. If diagnostics are enabled, saved images are retained until removed by an administrator; upon user request we will delete them.

6. Recipients and cross-border transfers

Data is not shared with third parties except the hosting provider acting as a technical processor. Processing takes place on servers in Liechtenstein (EEA). Services are administered from Australia; where the GDPR applies, such remote access is deemed a cross-border transfer and is safeguarded by appropriate legal instruments (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses, SCC).

7. Your rights

  • Request information on whether data relating to you exists (limited to technical logs/temporarily saved diagnostic files).
  • Request deletion of such data/files if they were stored.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). If you are in the EU/EEA, you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

8. Security

Data in transit between your browser and the Service is encrypted via TLS (HTTPS). All HTTP requests to the domain are redirected to HTTPS. Technical limits and anti-abuse measures are applied; request bodies are not logged by default.

9. Age restrictions

The Service is not intended for persons under 16 years of age.

10. Policy updates

We will update this Policy when functionality or processing practices change.
